Kendriya Vidyalaya VRDE was established in 25.2.1992 to cater to the growing demands of students both inside and outside the VRDE complex. Located in serene, sprawling and pollution free VRDE complex amidst lush sylvan surrounding, it creates a conductive environment for students to attain greater heights in both academic excellence as well as in students activities. Kendriya Vidyalaya VRDE, Ahmednagar is co-educational institute affiliated to CBSE New Delhi. The Vidyalaya follows the curriculum prepared by NCERT. 

About the KV :–

A brief description about how the KV has progressed since its inception along with the following details.

Infrastructural facilities available in the campus :-

1) No. of class rooms             –          12 classrooms. 

2) Science Labs                      -           3 Labs for science subjects. 

                                                                 Physics, Chemistry, Biology.

 3) Other rooms                       -           A well developed  Computer Lab with

                                                                Broad Band connectivity fully

                                                                air-conditioned. 

 4)Computer                            –          Student ratio is 13.64

 5) A junior Science Lab and Maths corner.

 6) A library with over 6600 books.

 7) Facilities for indoor/outdoor games -  Couple of Volley Ball courts,

                                                                  Skating Ring, TT Table, Kho Kho Ground.

VRDE facilities like- Indoor badminton court, TT hall, football ground too can be used. 

* 7 New computers are purchased and installed in Computer Lab.It is through Plan Fund

The Vidyalaya strives not only to impart excellence in learning but also endeavors to inculcating desirable values, positive attitude and habits of work in the students. Moreover, an equal emphasis has been laid on inculcating all round development of the children. They are also guided in adopting sound moral conduct, personal hygiene and good habits.
